I want to make money from my blog by putting ads in the sidebar.

  I tried downloading Adspace Platform (adspace-platform.1.5), the WordPress-approved ad-space-selling app, but it didn’t seem to work. How can I get this set up if this particular program won’t work?
  I’ve already read your disclaimers that third party advertising like AdSense isn’t allowed (http://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=make+money+from+ads+on+your+blog), so I’m not interested in hearing that response. Adspace Platform was the app recommended by WordPress, so I want to make it work.

  We do not allow other third-party advertising programs on WordPress.com. If you would like to include them on your site, you may wish to consider a self-hosted site using the software available at WordPress.org.
