  I want to make type an address “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” Can I?

  Unfortunately, no, not with a [blog].wordpress.com subdomain.

  If you register or map your own domain, you can have an email address with that following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/

  You could also use a Contact Form and then send the information entered in the Form to any email address you wanted. That also keeps your email address off the internet and helps to reduce spam.
