I want to merge 2 WordPress sites into one
-
I want to integrate my blog http://www.tarottaxi.com to my website http://www.rootweaver.com. I do not want two separate blogs. How can I do this? Both are hosted by WordPress.com

My blog is quite successful, however I have a website from which I will be driving most of my business too. I need to merge the successful blog into the business website. Can this be done? If so, how?

This guide will step you through the process of moving your blog contents to another WordPress.com blog:

Thank you Kardotim for your response, so basically I’ll have to move the actual content from the one to the other which means that I am migrating away from tarottaxi ? I was hoping to retain the original blog (tarottaxi) as people are familiar with the blog name and it has quite a few followers, but also somehow ‘merge’ this with my new website (rootweaver) so that when people click on my ‘blog’ tab on rootweaver they are redirected to tarottaxi’s blog. Is this do-able or should I perhaps just delete the ‘blog’ page on rootweaver and perhaps redirect readers to the tarottaxi blog with a button on the homepage of the rootweaver site?

Blogs are seen as individual being. Therefore it’s only possible to move content from one blog to another and not merging them. Once the content is moved you can set a static front page on your ‘tarottaxi’ blog to point your readers to your new blog.

Thank you so much for your help in resolving this matter. I will use a static page as recommended by you.
