    Hi there,

    To migrate your site somewhere else, you can export your content at Tools ->Export in the dashboard.

    This will give you one or more .XML files that contain all the posts, pages and comments on your site, and links to the images in your media library.

    You can upload this file to a WordPress site at another host, or even to a completely different platform as long as they support .XML imports. During the import process your media files will get transferred to the new site, so make sure you don’t delete your WordPress.com site until everything has finished importing to the new site.

    The theme/design and settings of your WordPress.com site cannot be migrated, only the content, but if you’ll still be using WordPress at the other host, you can download and install the self-hosted version of your theme over there.
