I want to move a blog to a to host in Argentina

  I exported my WordPress blog as a XML file to my computer, then tried to use FileZilla to import the XML file to <argentinavirtual.net> where I have a domain.

  I know enough to try this (more than a decade ago I used FrontPage and so on), but not enough to be successful.

  Do I need to open the XML on my computer before importing it to Argentina Virtual? If so how?

  Don’t mess with Filezilla – you need to import your XML file into your new WordPress.ORG install – see the steps below – Filezilla would be appropriate if you had the entire database to move – but you don’t have access to the database here
