I want to move all my sites data to a new domain.

    I want to move all my site’s data and everything to a new domain, Basically I want to change the name that’s why I am doing all this. I am new to this WordPress stuff can anyone help me please.

    Hi there,

    Your site is built with the open source WordPress software, made by the community on WordPress.org. It’s not the same thing as WordPress.com where you’re posting now – we’re a hosting provider for that software, but your site isn’t hosted on our servers, and it looks like your domain is registered with GoDaddy.com.

    To move your site to a new domain, first you’ll need to register the new domain – domains are registered for a year at a time, and you can’t edit an existing domain to change it to something else.

    Once you have the new domain, you’ll need to follow your hosting provider’s process for connecting that domain to your hosting account, and you’ll also need to update your WordPress installation to point to the new domain.
