I want to move apollodesign.studio to a diffrent webhost but now i cant get it anymore

    Hi, i was the owner of apollodesign.studio. I would like to reclaim it, but wordpress just isn’t for me and i wanted to move it to a diffrent web host. But now i can’t claim my url. Is there a way to get it back so that i can move it to them?

    It looks like you only purchased your domain name yesterday, 7th May.

    Per the rules of domain names (that’s the same everywhere, nothing to do with WordPress.com), you cannot move (ie transfer) a newly registered domain name to another registrar until after 60 days.

    But you can POINT the domain to another host right now, and TRANSFER when the 60-day wait period is over. Here are the instructions to change your domain’s name servers to point it to your preferred host:

    Again, please understand that this 60-day wait period exists everywhere irrespective of where you purchase your domain from, and is not something imposed by WordPress.com.

    Re-reading your post, I’m not entirely sure if you’re the one who purchased the domain yesterday, or someone else did. But the domain was clearly only purchased yesterday, as the screenshot below shows.

    Hi there,

    Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future. You should only cancel a domain if you’re completely sure you no longer want it at all.

    In this case, your domain should become available again towards the middle of next week, at which point you’ll be able to register it directly where you want to use it.

    I can also still restore the domain to your account, but I’ll need to send you a link you can use to pay for it again first. Also note that you won’t be able to transfer the domain away from us until you’ve owned it for at least 60 days. You will, however, be able to point it to a different domain provider.

    Let me know if you’re going to wait a few days, or if you want to restore it right away instead.
