I want to move domain names and website to WordPress.com
-
I have 4 domain names that are parked at 2 different places. (2 with GoDaddy and 2 with Bluehost and hosting with Bluehost) Cost is getting high so want to lower that price or free. I’m not getting that much traffic right now so I don’t think I need so many pages or just a few with each domain name. I know main thing is not to cancel domains but to just put them somewhere else together. I’ve been reading up on WP.com for days now and sounds like I want to move them and my websites to WP.com but I have some questions.
I know I can map all 4 of them with WP.com for $13 each and that’s not a problem. This may be long so bear with me. I will be paying $191+ in May 2017 but want to avoid that high cost.
Questions
1. Can I put all 4 domains in the same account and build websites from same account?
or do I need to open up 4 different accounts. I do that all together now on Bluehost same account.2. If I only have my domain names mapped to WP.com free plan, can I redirect to any url I want without building a page? I have a lot of business cards out and other places so want people to be able to find me. example: Someone types in http://www.MYsite.com have it redirected to http://www.facebook.com/myname Will this work on the free or $2.99 etc or do I have to have another hosting account.
3. Can I transfer all my WP files from Bluehost to WP.com free or paid $2.99 etc plan so I can keep same format. I have already downloaded to my PC with File Zilla
4. If I bought any of the other sites from wp.com for 2.99 a month etc where it says you get a free domain name with it. Can I use the domain I already have instead of the free one? And if I can do I still have to pay the mapping?
Also can I build more than one site on the same account or do I need to do 4 separate accounts.5. On the free or $2.99 plans, can themes be uploaded and used on them like I can do now on my hosting account.
5. I know the paid are yearly and is 2.99 a month etc, Is this a special price or is it that the same all the time or will the price go up each year.

WordPress.com does not provide an email service for blogs on their sub domains or on custom domains. Please see these support docs

https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/What domain mapping does is providing a seamless redirect to the very same content under the new domain URL when a person clicks the old URL .wordpress.com to the original content. It can take up to 72 hours for domain propagation to take place throughout the internet but it doesn’t usually take that long. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

On the free or $2.99 plans, can themes be uploaded and used on them like I can do now on my hosting account.
There are no monthly payment plans.
The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes
There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:
upload any third party themes,
create child themes,
create our own themes,
edit templates,
create own own layouts,
or use stylesheets from other themes.See:
Themes »Uploading Custom Themes
http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/WordPress.com sites have some built in plugins http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/. However, if you are reading anything that makes you think that we bloggers can install plugins, advertising, custom themes or third party themes on sites hosted by wordpress.COM, then you are mistaken/misinformed. We have never had that ability. You are confusing wordpress.COM hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.
Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality. Permalink structure cannot be changed on sites hosted by wordpress.com
For that type of functionality, you’d need a self-hosted WordPress.ORG software install running on a paid web hosting service.
