I want to move my domain into other Blog out of WordPress

Ok here’s the catch, I blogged and bought a domain and CSS customization upgrade here in wordpress.com. But, I can’t seem to edit my site to my desired look due to restriction on html markup language. Now, I want my domain and I don’t want my blog in wordpress anymore since it serves me no purpose. Can I point my domain here into other blogging flatform and host or I’ll just blog like I am in North Korea co’z i can’t edit my PURCHASED domain????

Purchasing an upgrade does not remove any of the limitations or restrictions on WordPress.com blogs.
You can export the contents of your blog and import them into your new, self-hosted blog, then leave a final post with a link so visitors can find you. There is no automatic redirect of visitors.

So if you buy a domain through wordpress it is stuck there. Surely it can be moved to a new blog or website?

Scratch part of the 2nd point. If your domain is the one you’ll be using at your new host, you’ll need to export/import and then make your wordpress.com blog totally private or delete it once everything is fine at your new host.
