I want to reinstate a blog domain name that I previously deleted

  I changed my blog URL from ajbake.wordpress.com to clientcollaborator.wordpress.com but I kept the title “ajbake.wordpress.com”. Then I deleted “ajbake.wordpress.com”. Now I would like to re-instate my blog URL back to ajbake.wordpress.com but it says it’s already taken. How can I get ajbake.wordpress.com back, when I know I already ‘own’ it?

  Thanks, but that pertains to taking a blog URL from someone else. in this case, I just want the url back that I had previously ‘owned’. Still too late?

  Actually, staff have recently introduced a way for other people to get the recycled blog names and if you enabled that, then they can give it to you. I wish they’d make a way for the original owner to get it back. I suppose you could create a new account, get the URL, then add your existing username as Admin.
