I want to remove an old site from my wordpress.com account
-
A couple of years ago I helped an ex girlfriend with a wordpress.com website. We broke up, and I don’t have anything to do with the site. I have two other self hosted websites associated with my wordpress.com website. The ex’s website is listed as my primary website. I want to remove it from my account.
My only option seems to be to delete it? I don’t want to delete her site. I have no idea if my ex uses it or not, and don’t want to contact her if I can avoid it. In the ‘Primary Site’ dropdown for my account, my two sites are listed along with hers. There’s a little padlock symbol by hers.
I don’t want to contact the ex, I don’t want to continue to have access to her account, and I certainly don’t want to delete. How do I get out of this? Help!
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

(PS: I don’t need help with the blog that’s listed- that’s now my “Primary Site” associated with my wordpress.com account)

Hi theejaytee,
What is the address of the site you no longer wish to keep? Is it lituohuanglaw.wordpress.com?
Once I know for sure, I can look at your options.
Thanks!

Thanks for confirming the site’s URL. If you’d like to permanently delete a site form WordPress.com you may follow this guide:
Note that when a site is deleted the URL will not be avaliable for future use.

Thanks for you reply bdukes
To clarify: I see how to “delete” a site. I’m not trying to delete the site, just remove it from my account.
Is there any way to do this? Am I stuck with my ex’s site tied to my wordpress.com account?
