I want to renew an expired domain. My domain has expired but it says I can pay $98 to renew it. However, there is no renew button. What do I do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog, who is the Admin of the blog and who purchased the upgrade for the blog to renew the upgrade for the blog.
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If required click the “Need More Help” link and complete the form for account recovery.Expired domain options are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/

My domain has expired and I want to cancel it because they demand I pay that ridiculous overdue fee. However, whenever I click the cancel button they repeat that I must click the “I understand” the conditions box. I have clicked that but it still comes up with the box saying I haven’t clicked it. So I am on a repeating loop. I can’t see my website now because of this.

For the record WordPress.com does not require the payment of the redemption fee. The Registrar who you purchased the blog owns the blog does because you failed to renew prior to expiration and failed to act during the grace period. .
If you fail to respond to the multiple renewal notices form WordPress.com advising you of impending domain expiration and wallow the domain to expire the Registrar you bought the domain name from owns it and can charge whatever they want for their redemption fee.
I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

I assume you have already tried this but as I don’t know that for sure I’m posting what follows:
To cancel a domain you registered with WordPress.com, please log into your account, then go to Store → My Upgrades and use the “Cancel” link in the Subscription Status column.

RATS! I see errors above in wording:
Replace this sentence above:
The Registrar who you purchased the blog owns the blog does because you failed to renew prior to expiration and failed to act during the grace period.with
The Registrar who you purchased the domain name from now owns the domain name because you failed to renew prior to expiration and failed to act during the grace period.

I purchased the domain from wordpress, so I assume it is they who are demanding the late fee. Well, I can’t renew it with them unless I DO pay that over-priced late fee. Hey, I love wordpress but I do not like that ridiculous late fee.

WordPress.com is not a domain name registrar. You purchased a domain mapping upgrade from WordPress.com and it included a domain name purchase from Wild West Domains. It is the latter that is the Registrar and it is that latter that is charging the redemption fee.

OK, that’s fine. The problem is that I can’t seem to cancel it even though I request it be cancelled. I am happy to go back to my wordpress domain, but can’t seem to do it.
(BTW, thanks for you help here). -
Not to worry because I previously tagged this thread for Staff and they will assist with the domain removal as soon as they can. They work their way forward from the threads with the earliest dates to those with the most recent dates.
