I want to renew my domains before they are auto-renewed,…

I think about renewing my domains before they are auto-renewed,…

I remember that was possible back then. Is this not possible anymore? In case it is possible, how do I do this? Also, in this case, would the auto-renew stil charge me this year, or would the auto-renew trigger one year later if I renew now?

My domains would be auto-renewd in January and February, but I’d like to do it this November or December.

Ok, I do now understand how to renew earlier… but there is still the last question…

After I’d renew the domains, and if I re-eanble auto-renew… would it trigger 12 months later? I am afraid I would pay twice this year since if this would still trigger in January.

Yo! Good luck with that. ;)

It should trigger 12 months later, which you can verify after you renew the domain. The same page will indicate when the next billing date will be.

You always get the 12 months – BUT – because auto renew is set to trigger 30 days before the expire date it can look like you are only getting 11 months of an upgrade – the last time I looked I don’t think there was an easy way to see the “expire” date

@chrisrudzki – adding an “expires on” field / display might be a nice idea – the info is already in the database – so relatively simple I would think to add another field

I do agree with auxclass, the “expires on” field would be a nice improvement.

I also think an “expired on” notation is a great idea.
