I want to retain info but to export by category to make a book

    Have people made books from their content? I would like to know how they did this- their export techniques, the receptacle app/sw to keep the book draft, how the effectively edited etc. any info appreciated!

    People have definitely made books from their blog posts.

    You can export by category, but what is created is an WXR file, which contains a bunch of code and stuff and is not something you could easily turn into a word processing document. I did a quick Google search and did not find anything that looked promising.

    It might be that you end up copying and pasting into a plain text file that you can then copy and paste into a word processing document.
