i want to retrieve permanently deleted posts

A few weeks ago I deleted a whole bunch of posts. At first I thought they were gone forever and I was kind of sad because afterwards I actually wanted those posts back. Then I found out they were still in the trash folder, so I thought: no problem. These posts were supposed to be future reading, but at this time I did not want them on my blog anymore. But yesterday I found out that my trash folder was half empty, and then I found out that after 30 days posts in the trash folder are deleted permantly. I did not know that and I feel even more sad now I “lost” my content for a second time. Is there any way I can retrieve those deleted posts?

Perhaps you can copy and paste from Google’s cache of indexed posts.

Beyond that there is no means of restoring them. -
In the future you can set Posts to Private – that takes them off the Web but leaves them on your blog and you only see them if you are logged in – if you don’t want to see all the Post when paging back in your blog – use the “More Tag” as the first line in the Post then all you will see is the title

I know about setting posts to private. But my action was impulsive – I just wanted the posts gone from my homepage, did not think about making them private…
I tried the google cache, but it only contains the pages of my blog and a set of random posts that are exactly not the ones I’m looking for…
Isn’t there some database where deleted posts in disappear, like when you erase something on your computer, it is not really gone unless you over-write it, right? Doesn’t that work in a similar way for deleted web-content?
The posts are really important to me. They contain things I want to tell someone, but I had doubts about whether I should and that is why at first I trashed the posts, and now I am very sad that they have disappeared. It was about 50 posts or so, so I do not exactly remember all the content :(

I believe The archive tapes are only a few days back and as soon as something is deleted by a blogger it is deleted from the servers and the tapes – I have only seen deleted content brought back a couple of times from the tapes – just the way the system works – there is no system of tapes going back since forever
I have flagged this for staff attention, but I think they will tell you the same thing

Once posts have been deleted by a user, they cannot be restored.
In the future, if you want to hide posts, I’d recommend either setting them to private or reverting them to drafts.
