  I want to know how I can create a self-hosted website in WP

  Hi @sarah20092009,

  To self-host your WordPress site you’ll need to perform the following tasks:

  Step 1: Choose a WordPress Host. This is a hosting space you rent from providers like Godaddy, SiteGround, BlueHost etc.
  Step 2: Choose/Buy a Domain Name. This is the address that your site will need to be accessible to the world.
  Step 3: Download and Install self-hosted open-source copy of WordPress.org software.
  Step 4: Select a Theme or Design from Scratch.
  Step 5: Generate Content and Publish!
