I want to start a new blog which is unconnected to a blog I already have

  I had a blog entitled Rose Red Stories, which was about my family life. My husband followed it and still gets emails very time I post. I left my husband due to some serious problems, I wanted to continue to blog without him reading my blog. I tried to start a new blog, but it still linked back to my old blog – for example, if I ‘like’ a blogpost from my new blog, it shows up on my old blog. I cannot separate the 2 blogs even though I set the new one up completely separately and with a different email address. My Avatar also remains the same. Even though I love WordPress I thik the only way around this is to go and blog on a different platform. Do you have any suggestions?
