I want to stay in classic editing for posts/pages

I like the classic editing mode – I don’t like the beep beep boop and don’t want to keep having to change it to the classic editing. How can I stay in classic editing?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Sandrine!

We made an update last Friday that should cause the editor preference to stick. If you choose to go back to Classic mode, you should be diverted their by default in the future. Can you let me know if that’s the case?

Also, just a note, we’re constantly making improvements to the new editor and listing the improvements here:

    Hi Jeremy,

I did face the “new” editor today and had to click on classic mode. I will let you know if I get the new page again or hopefully stay in the classic mode.

    Thanks!

I figured out the situation – if one is looking at your published blog and decide to click on edit to change a post, it takes you to the new editor. I have clicked on classic mode several times today after doing this, so I think that something needs to be done if someone decides to click edit directly off the published blog.
    Does that make sense?

    Hi!

Once you click “Switch to Classic”, you should be defaulted back to the classic editor even when you click “Edit” directly off the published blog. Can you make sure you have cookies enabled on your browser? The preference is tracked via a cookie so they need to be enabled in order for this to work.
