I want to switch to hosting with WordPress

  Hello! For some reason I cannot log in to my account on the WordPress.com site but I am in my dashboard just fine. I do host with someone else but I would like to switch to WordPress to keep everything streamline.

  I also would like to tear down and restart building my site today and am very interested in signing up for the annual subscription plan for intuitive building.

  Hi @amandacantonphotography, welcome to our community!

  You mentioned you’d like to start over with your site. Do you have any particular big changes in mind? And, is there anything about the existing site that you want to keep?

  Normally in a situation like this, I’d recommend importing the content and images here first, then you can work on the layout for each page, then for the site overall.

  Also, you could connect your domain right now, or you can keep the old site live until the new site is ready… whichever works best for you.

  We’d be happy to advise on any questions you have here in our community forum, or, note that once your site has a paid plan, you’ll have access to direct support. So if you want to get started, I’d recommend picking up Personal or Premium (Premium has more design options), then opening a support request here.

  I’m sure that’s because the site is hosted elsewhere right now. You can always connect a self-managed WordPress site to our interface, but if you’ll be starting over and hosting here anyway, I wouldn’t worry about that.
