I want to test out a new theme prior, what is the best way to do this?

    I’ve recently been trying to experiment with a new theme for my blog and I’ve been finding it difficult to set things up without impacting the live site.

    Essentially, what I want to do is duplicate my current site to a offline test version, experiment with different themes and get everything looking right before I commit to any changes on the live version, then swap the old site with the new finalized site.

    I’ve been having trouble finding a way to test things out in a way that uses my current site’s content, I want to be able to see how the new side would look with the existing content that’s there already.

    Is there a solution to this issue?

    Hi there, if your above website has a Business plan you can create a staging site.

    If your site isn’t on that plan, then you register a new WordPress.com website and export some of your content and then import it to that site.
