I want to transfer my blog at wordpress to sina.

  I transfer my msn space to WordPress, but i am in trouble to deal with it right now coz it is not convinient for me as not a native english speaker. can anyone help me to figure out how to transfer my blog to another web,Thank you so much!!!

  There are support Forums in a few languages other than English: http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2007/02/02/wordpresscom-forums-internazionale/ – the article is quite old maybe someone can point to an updated list of different languages.

  These should help you to transfer your blog if you want:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/

  Just find a host that lets you import WordPress information, DO NOT delete anything until you are sure all the information has been transferred.

  Remember that once you delete a blog name at WordPress.COM that name can never be used again, even by you, so the recommended practice is to set your blog to “Private” that way if you ever change your mind about WordPress.COM you can have your old blog name back.

  I just put a suggestion in the Ideas section that they add a sticky Post with the list of the languages that have their own Support Forum.

  Here’s the full list, but it is correct that not all have their own support forum

  It also seems that if you log in to the forums from somewhere else in the world, at the top of the forum home page a link appears “WordPress.com forums are also available in …” the … being whatever the native language your IP is coming in from. :)

  @justjennifer: That’s right! I’m in Canada (Montreal to be exact) and every time I come I see “WordPress.com forums are also available in Français”… but only if I’m not logged in yet.

  @auxclass: Good idea. Let’s hope MOST users will actually recognize it and read it before posting something in another language than English.

  Having the information in a sticky makes it easy to find and reference. Some will read it and be helped, also easy for us to find to pass the information on.
