Hello, @jerseycitypride! Could you please share the domain you’re referring to so I can take a closer look?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Hi @jerseycitypride,

When you cancel a paid plan, the site itself may revert to the free tier, but your domain registration still stays active until it expires or you transfer it. If you don’t see the domain in your dashboard, it’s usually because it’s tied to your account at the registrar level rather than the site level.

The way forward is to log in at https://wordpress.com/domains while using the same WordPress.com account that originally purchased the domain. From there you should see your domain listed, even if the site isn’t showing in your regular dashboard. Once it appears, you can unlock the domain and request the transfer code (also called the EPP code or authorization code). With that in hand, you’ll be able to start a transfer to your new registrar of choice, such as Namecheap, GoDaddy, or Google Domains.

If the domain still doesn’t appear under your account after checking, it’s possible it’s linked to another WordPress.com account or email. In that case, contacting WordPress.com support directly at https://wordpress.com/help/contact is the best option—they can verify ownership and get you the transfer details.

@elcristofue why is nobody responding to my forum? I would also like to transfer all of my domains out of WordPress, as your team has failed. My domain manager does not work, and I have bought a majority of my domains in the past 30 days. I expect this to be resolved asap, or WordPress might have an issue.

@staartmees I suggest making a report to ICANN, if your domain manager is down or WP won’t transfer domains you own. WP is holding us hostage.

@nicorico0 newly registered domains cannot be transferred for 60 days after registratïon due to ICANN-regulations.

Why would I have to make a report to ICANN for a domain I have nothing to do with … DUH

  • Hi @jerseycitypride! Please confirm what domain you are referring to and we’d be happy to help. As was pointed out earlier in this thread, if the domain in question is jerseycitypride.com, that domain is now registered at Wix: https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/https://www.jerseycitypride.com

If anybody else in this thread is having issues managing their domain, we would definitely like to hear about it and help! Please reach out via the account used to register the domain(s) via the address that was shared above.

    Thanks!

If you don’t see your domain in the dashboard, it usually means one of two things: either the domain is managed under a different account/email than the one you’re logged into, or it’s registered through a partner/third-party provider instead of directly in your current dashboard. I’d recommend first double-checking that you’re signed in with the exact account the domain was originally purchased or registered under. If you still don’t see it, reach out to support with your domain name — they can confirm where it’s registered and help you get the transfer code.

wasifali758595 your answer is of no use. Do read previous answers, certainly if they are coming from Staff.
