i want to try a free trial but i keep getting an error

  im trying to test your free trial package but when i enter my card details it tell me the transaction cant be proccessed?

  Below are the only accepted means of payment.

  If for whatever reason, they have chosen to block payment from your country, you will not be able to purchase an upgrade here unless you have a source of payment outside of your country. Note: You can buy a prepaid credit card from an approved country.

  In addition to major credit cards Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Discover, and PayPal https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ WordPress.com can accept echecks and some debit cards.

  The debit card must have a VISA or Mastercard symbol on it, and should work just like a credit card when selecting the VISA or Mastercard option on the payment form, even though it’s a debit card.

  Thanks for the reply but I have a visa debit card and it’s worked for purchases on blue host so I don’t get why it wouldn’t work for WordPress?

  Hi there,

  When you sign up for a free trial, WordPress.com checks to make sure it’s authorized to charge your card so your Premium plan can be renewed at the end of the free trial. Your bank may be blocking that authorization, even if your card works for other purchases. Can you please check with your bank to find out if they are blocking any authorizations or transactions from WordPress.com?
