  how do I unlink a blog from wordpress.com

  You can hide a blog (or blogs) from your dashboard:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility
  or
  You can delete blogs:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
  or
  make the blogs private:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
  or
  you can transfer the blogs to another account
  (set up another email address first then transfer blog to it)
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

  Or are you asking about moving to wordpress.org?
  Or do you want to use domain mapping while remaining hosted here on wp.com, but not have the “wordpress.com” part of the URL?
