I want to upgrade to premium without losing my posts from basic package
-
First, I want to put ads on my blog. It has been wildly successful and people owning businesses have come to me wanting to advertise. Would upgrading from basic to premium allow me to put ads on the blog? If the answer is yes, how can I upgrade without losing my posts in the basic package. This is a news and sports site, and I have more than 325 posts, which I want readers to be able to access.

Hi there,
If you’re are referring to whitewatervalleynewsandsports.com, then by upgrading to the Jetpack Premium or Professional plan you’ll be able to start displaying ads.
You won’t lose anything by upgrading to a plan. Your content and layout will remail unaffected. The only difference will be the addition of some features that are available on the paid plans.

I don’t want the Google ads. I have a person to sell ads to local businesses. I also have a graphic artist to make up the ads. I want to put that type of ads on the blog. An example would be a local car lot, bank or hospital. Would a premium package allow that type of ads or is it just for the Google-type ads?

Hi there,
Adding the paid plans will not affect the content on your site. You won’t lose any posts or pages if you decide to upgrade your plan.
If you are wanting to add your own ads, you can do that via various plugins, but I would recommend reaching out to the dotorg forums for assistance with this since your site isn’t hosted with us.

Thanks!
