    i have purchased a theme from themeforest and i want to upload it

    The capability of uploading a custom theme is only for users of the Business plan. The comparison of all paid plans can be found at https://wordpress.com/plans/. Please refer to it and consider upgrading your plan if you have interest.

    Alternatively, you can migrate to a self-hosted site with WordPress.org software if uploading a custom theme is a necessary feature for your blogging. However, having a self-hosted site means that you have to deal with more things by yourself. Please learn the difference between WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress at https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/.

    Lastly, I want to recommend you to check Theme Showcase out again. You will find a ton of wonderful themes here. You may find out the similar one to the custom theme you currently have.

    Hi rishabhsraja,

    In addition to @hacchism’s reply — if you decide to upgrade to the Business plan, you will only need to pay the price difference between that and your current plan.
