I want to use a -page- not post in my slider

    Essentially, i want to have a page featured in the slider rather than posts. It seems that i can only set at image to ”sticky” if its in a post.
    I could work with this constraint if i could have the permalink from the slider image not link to the post, but rather my desired page
    [have yet to be able to get this concept to work]

    However, ideally I would prefer the one-tiered level by having a page be sticky
