I want to use a theme configured for WordPress that's not in the WordPress library

  I want to buy a theme from themeforest.net that’s configured for WordPress. I already have a WordPress.com account that has quite a lot of content on the AutoFocus theme. How do I go about changing the theme from AutoFocus to the one I want to buy.

  themeforest.net do not explain that well. All I can see is an option to buy the theme and download it. Also can it run on the .com format or do I need to switch to .org and self-hosting?

  Themes can’t be uploaded to sites hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted sites running on the free software available at WordPress.org.
