  using contact forms, i have not been able to notify the person submitting the form (via confirmation email) that there submission was received. Is there a way via the built-in contact form to have an email go to form user, confirming there submission?
  (*I can do it with wufoo, but can’t see how through WP form.)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there,

  This is not possible. The embedded contact forms at WordPress.com can only go to the recipients coded into the form. It cannot be sent on a case by case basis.

  However, when your visitors fill out their contact form and hit submit, they will see a summary of all the data they filled in their form. They will see confirmation that their form was submitted properly.

  You can add a note to the bottom of the contact form that says anything you’d like, such as, “Please take note of your entry data for your own records.”
