I want to use avg antivirus in my website

    Hi. I need a tool for my website security which is avg. Before, choosing wordpress, I want to know that do you support using avg with your platform. I have contacted avg here https://support.avg.com/answers?id=9065p000000kLFoAAM and they offer web security plans. Thanks

    Hello there,

    Happy to help you with this.

    I’ve done a Google search and I can’t see that AVG integrates with WordPress.com. As they’re a third party, the onus would be on them to integrate with WordPress, via a plugin – and one that doesn’t conflic with a web hosts own security measures.

    That said, I’ve checked the post above, and you may not need AVG if you choose to host with WordPress.com. I notice that the issue is: “Recently, I get many login attempts from different ip addresses.” we actually have a firewall built in to prevent this from happening.

    We don’t just use firewall as part of our security, we have a full range of safe guards in place, and a full list of chapters can be found here.

    To check, are you looking to host https://helloapk.net/ with WordPress.com? If yes, this can be migrated over using this plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpcom-migration/ and at a minimum the business plan would need to be use.
