I want to use my email I had before bringing my own domain to WordPress
-
Hello
I have brought in my domain http://www.leonorhelenodesigns.com from GoDaddy
I had my email set up for it.
Since it is not working anymore. The instructions I found here talk about defining the DNS in the Updates>Domains section, but if I go to GoDaddy DNS records, it says there is none!
Can you please help.

You’ll need to set GoDaddy’s MX records via our DNS panel: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/custom-dns/
We can’t support all email configurations, so you may need to setup your email through Google Apps for Domains instead: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/

You have given me exactly what i had followed and which doesn’t help…
How do I define the custom DNS???
And the second link can only be used for accounts that are new and not veryfied. Mine already exists!

You’ll need to retrieve the necessary DNS rules (MX records, etc) from GoDaddy and enter them in your Custom DNS panel as outlined in the guide.

Just to be clear, you need to get the MX records required by your email provider. If your email provider is GoDaddy, then you should contact them to ask what DNS records are required to make your email work and you will want to enter them into the Upgrades → Domains → Edit DNS page in your site. If your email provider is a different company, you should contact that company.
If you don’t have an email provider, then you can set up a free one such as Google Apps.
If you need help entering the MX records once you find out what they are, just let us know!
