i want wordpress.org not .com, and don't know how to change it! please help

  how do i get my domain name on a worfdpress.org platform instead of a wordpress.com? i want to install a new theme and can’t on .com please can you help as i really need to do this and am struggling with all of your support page information!

  Hi Patrick,

  Here’s a brief outline of the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

  In short, you’ll need to open up an hosting account at the provider of your choice. We have a handful listed at http://get.wp.com/hosting , but there are actually a ton of options in the industry. Might want to check out Bluehost. They’ll help setup WordPress on your server.

  In short, head to http://get.wp.com/hosting , choose a provider and follow the prompts. After you’re set up there, you’ll need to change name servers with your domain name using the values given to you by your new hosting company.
