I wanted to cancel an event that I created

Hi

On the events page here – http://dailypost.wordpress.com/blog-events-listing/ – I have an event (listed under cognitive reflection). I want to cancel that event and remove it from the page, I have asked several times on a couple of forums with no luck.

Can you please advise me on how I can get my event removed from this page.

Hi timethief, the blog is mine, but I cannot remove my entry from the events page, that is a wordpress page, so surely someone from wordpress needs to remove that?

The DailyPost is not your blog. Contact the administrators of the Daily Post whoever they are.

Hi Raincoaster, that is easier said than done when I don’t know who they are, if posted on the comments section in the events page and the how to submit an event, no response, there is no email the admin option that I can find on the daily post or the events page.

Looking back, others have asked for events to be removed from that same page, no response.

I thought that those “services” were part of WordPress itself, which is why I posted here, but if you have zero to do with it then I apologise for posting here.

Well, I’m certainly not responsible for that blog. If as you say there’s a problem in the feedback loop TT has already gone ahead and done the best thing, which is to flag this for staff. Just wait and they will hopefully reply.

Thanks for your response Raincoaster, I apologise if I sound a bit irked, I have just been trying multiple ways to get something to happen. I’ll see what happens and a day or two.
