  I want to change lazzalicious.wordpress.com to lazadventures.wordpress.com…why is it so difficult to do that on your site? It isn’t allowing me to do this and use the same email address I am using…why?
  I haven’t put anything on my site yet thankfully, so I think I will have to just delete the site completely and start over with my new domain…

  Changing your WordPress.com blog URL is quite easy.

  Did you follow the steps mentioned here? https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  If you followed these steps and faced any errors while doing the same, could you let me know what the error message was, so that I can look into it better?

  Hi Hari, when I wanted to change the user name to match my new url it was not accepting my email address, since it was connected to the old url. I couldn’t figure out why…I have now managed to change my url but haven’t figured out yet how to chang my user name. The url change was the main thing. Thanks for helping me out with that.

  Both addresses are coming up for me, which is just fine.
  https://lazzalicious.wordpress.com/ (original)
  https://lazadventures.wordpress.com/ (new)

  Do you see both under your My Sites button?

  If so, you can set the Privacy settings on the original one to Private and use it for testing things and then carry on with the publicly visible site.

  Let us know if you need more help with that.

  Hello Jennifer and Bruce thanks for asking. I can bring up lazadventures as my blog, but unfortunately it is still connected to the url
  https://lazzalicious.wordpress.com/ for the public, eventhough I have hidden that url on My Blogs. I made my primary url as https://lazadventures.wordpress.com/ but it will not show up to the public this way.
  I don’t want to completely delete lazzalicious because I know I will never be able to use it in the future ever again. I might have a use for it one day if I decide to do a cooking blog.

  @lindaazad-I might be missing something, but I can’t see a connection from lazadventures and lazzalicious.

  If on the odd chance you are talking about the site that is currently linked to your username, lindaazad, you can change that in your account settings. Go here> https://wordpress.com/me/account and under Web Address, change it to what you want your username linked to.

  Again, if that wasn’t it, please let us know.
