I wanted to restore a post

    Hi! I had a post with alot of likes. It was the only other post I’ve ever made on WordPress. I am wondering if someone can restore it? I’ve only ever made two posts on WordPress. The one that accidentally got deleted is very important to me please. Thank you.

    Hi @writerfirst42, did you just recently remove the post? If so it should appear here:
    https://wordpress.com/posts/trashed

    I did notice you deleted an entirely separate site less than 30 days ago. We can still restore that if we act quickly. Can you confirm whether you wanted to restore the full site?

    Also, I do want to clear up a few terms, as I’ve been looking at the account and can see potential sources of confusion:

    – Trashed: Thrown away, but not permanently gone. You can still restore it on your own.

    – Deleted: Gone permanently, as though you put it in the trash and the trash was picked up and hauled away. Items in the trash are deleted after a while. We do have 30 days where staff can restore a deleted site at your request, but any posts or pages that were permanently deleted from a site will be truly gone.

    I can see recently you trashed AND deleted a post, and also deleted a site. We can restore the site address if you ask within the next week or two.

    But a post or page permanently deleted from that site would still be gone. I hope that helps.
