I was approved a free domain name and now it says I have to pay for it?

    Hello!

    It’s been a while since I’ve been using WordPress, so I’m a little behind.

    I was having difficulty changing my domain name, so I attempted to make a new blog account entirely. I selected the domain ‘denmarksthespotblog’ (which was available and free) and then began typing in my email address (which was already in use, just to see if it would just be added to my domain options). It said that my email had already been used (obviously).

    I eventually figured out how to add a domain to my old blog and tried to type in ‘denmarksthespotblog’ but it says that I have to upgrade to use it. I know that no one else has that same blog domain, and I think the reason why I can’t have it for free is because it entered it earlier (but I made a new account). HELP??

    Hi there,

    That site does exist, but it shows as being registered to your account and created around the same time that you posted this request in the forums.

    Are you able to see the site if you look at the site list in My Sites?

    Let me know if you need more help with this.
