    I was charged 5 times this month on Nov 5, 7, 9, 12 and 15. The amount was $51.17. I have no idea why as I have no active accounts. Please help!

  • Hi @supportquantumselfmasterycom, I don’t see those charges associated with upgrades on this account.

    Do they say wpchrg.com next to them on your billing statement? If so, can you go to that address and enter the charge info? It’s a secure form, and once you’ve located on the charges, you can contact Billing directly.

    They say WORDPRESS [redacted] in 8772733049 next to the latest one. The charges were all declined so it won’t reflect on my account. I’m lost too because I don’t have an active wordpress account.

    For security purposes please do not share your transaction IDs directly with staff here. That info can be used to gain access to your account. By the way 8772733049 is our phone number (not a transaction ID) so does not help in this case

    If you have more than one transaction ID it’s a good idea to try the others to be sure. If the info you have is not a match for what we show in our system, then a contact form will appear that will allow you send a direct message to our billing support team, and from there they will reach out to you directly via email.

    I get this message when I fill out that form. Perhaps because the transactions were declined so it can’t find them in the system: Maximum number of searches reached, please try again tomorrow.

  • Have you reported this activity to your credit card company? The amount you mention ($51.17) sounds like it lines up with our WordPress.com Personal Plan, which is $48 + tax.

    You are asking your bank to investigate? The fact you mention having no active accounts with us makes it sound like they need to get involved.

    I looked up the one transaction ID you provided (which I redacted from your original message) and as I mention we had no transactions matching that… which would be expected if your bank declined the charge.

    Hello again. I called my bank and had them block the transaction. It still went through today randomly. It’s been a couple of weeks and it tried again (previously it was trying every two days).

    Is there someone I can speak to on the phone or via chat about this so I can provide the new transaction ID. This is getting a little crazy as I don’t have any active wordpresss accounts and don’t know why I’m being charged randomly.

    wordpress.com doesn’t have phone or chat support. However Staff is following this up. They’ll be able to sort this out.
