i was hacked and someone changed my administrative email!

    i got hacked and would like to retrieve access to my WordPress! this is crucial to my websites success. This hacker, was someone with my login info and a developer. i cannot reach them at this point. when I try to look up my website on the WordPress site search engine, it shows me that the site: Zuhairjafar.com is being ‘transferred’ and that a very scary thing to see. I can prove this site is mine because ‘zuhair jafar’ is my full name. In addition, I can prove that ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ is my email, which was what the site admin email was before the hacking occurred.

    Hi there,

    The website you’ve posted is using open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and hosted with iPage and this forum is for the hosted WordPress.com platform.

    Because your site is not hosted with WordPress.com, WordPress does not have access to your credentials.

    They’re very similar, but two separate things.
