  I was logged in as the incorrect user for my blog. – can I change the author to a different username under the account?

  Sure thing! It looks as though you have a few posts with different authors, so I’ll give you the quick way to change the author – using the handy-dandy Bulk Edit menu.

  • Go to your posts page (Posts > All Posts from your blog’s Dashboard)
  • Select the posts you want to change the author for by clicking the checkbox next to the title of the post
  • Select ‘Edit’ from the Bulk Actions drop down menu, then click the Apply button
  • In the ‘Author’ drop down menu, select the author name you wish to use, then click the ‘Update’ button
  • Reward yourself with your favorite dessert (we prefer chocolate cake!)
