I was not aware I was being billed automatically

    Hi there,

    Since I was not aware I was being automatically billed €80 annually for WordPress premium can you please issue me a refund?

    I can’t help but feel that I was tricked into paying for this and would have expected better business practice from WordPress.

    Hi there,

    Of course you can! We don’t want anyone to have to keep a product which they don’t want. All of our products (except for domains) are refundable for the first 30 days after purchase or renewal.

    You may be able to cancel and refund it through your Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades, but if not let me know and I can cancel and refund all or part of your bundle. Are there any parts to your bundle you want to keep, such as the Custom Design upgrade?

    I made the cancellation through the dash board but it didn’t state that I was getting a refund.

    You actually split your bundle up into its component parts rather than cancel and refund the whole thing. Some folks want to keep individual items but don’t want the entire bundle, which is why we have that ability (though clearly it also causes confusion).

    Do you want to be rid of the whole thing? If so, I can do that for you! :)

    Not a problem! I’ve gone ahead and cancelled of the items and have issued you a refund for 80 EUR. Depending on your bank and its policies you should see the refund show up in your account within the next few days to few weeks.
