I was allowed by coolvibes to download a few pictures according to rules for my own use.
I was later asked to log in and they gave me WordPress Login so I put in my user name and my password which is a strong password – by WordPress standards
I was given a “shaky” response by the Log in window and it said my wordpress password was not acceptable
They also said I was not to use patriciaenola – my own user name – nor my email addy – which as WordPress knows is (email visible only to moderators and staff) – and I am SO NOT changing that – I use patriciaenola when I correspond to a Gentleman who calls himself the Argumentative Old Git – he is not Argumentative at all – I am speaking to him later – you have upset me badly.
I have been on WordPress for a while now and was hoping to continue to be a friend of wordpress, but I do not know about that now for the future.
I just do not like being locked out

http://coolvibe.com/ is actually a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, not a WordPress.com blog, so the account they gave you is specific to their site only and won’t work here.

If I was able to see my Avatar – that little owl up there – on their website, and if when I wanted to log in they – the site anyway – showed me a window from WordPress to log in on !! and this was shaken – vibrated so the words I put – were knocked off (cool that was) and I was told my WordPress log-in was not valid
With all that being true – which it is – how can I long in on a wordpress window and be told my wordpress log in is not valid – macmanx – that is uncool and they send me a newsletter that cannot be opened – because I do not have Microsoft outlook.
This is mystifying – especially since I was beginning to like WordPress – I even have a blog -
There are two different WordPress entities:
1. WordPress.com, which is where you are now. We’re a blogging service.
2. WordPress.org, which is what CoolVibe is using. It’s a self-hosted and self-contained blogging software.
The two entities are not inter-connected, so we are unable to help with any account issues that you may be having at CoolVibe.
Also, a WordPress.com username cannot be used to log in to a WordPress.org blog, like CoolVibe, and visa versa.
Your owl is showing in both because all instances of WordPress (.com and .org) use Gravatar, which associates the avatar whenever your email address is used.
