Aug 28, 2011, 5:56 AMI have asked for cancellation of my domain since I couldn’t use FTP I asked for this like 6 hours after registration since then no reply…I hope they are not doing this on purpose so that It will be more than 48hours.
This is more reason I will keep posting till I get a response in other to have a valid prove I asked for my domain to be canceled before the 48 hours graced period elapses.

I needed a domain that I can use FTP to upload HTML files myself. at the time of registration I did not know WordPress does not allow File Transfer Protocol, and this was my major use for my domain name. at the time of registration I was informed I can cancel and ask for a refund within 48hours…its still less than 12 hours I did my registration and now I want to know how to cancel and get a refund as soon as possible as I have to look for somewhere else to get a a new domain with FTP and email service. your immediate response will be highly appreciated.

Posting multiple answers everywhere will actually make you look like a spammer.
As long as you sent your refund request within 48 hours, you should still be eligible for a refund (even if staff responds to it later).

But I need this refund to use another domain host :(
this is just so sad for me…I have been up waiting for a refund so I can get a domain else where as I have to do something really urgently with this domain I want to open its my project for God sake! :( and am broke!

Yeah I know noirciplume!
But an organization like this should run for 24/7 customer service imagine your mobile operator customer service running for 5 days a week.
If that be the case they should accept payment on a weekend as well.
This is a project I have stayed up all night to do. I have to host it and show my supervisor before presentation day :( . Don’t you see how sad this is?
