I wish to clear my blog and but may want the name in the future.

  I have a blog, folioacademy.wordpress.com but we (folio academy) have a different folio academy blog that we use, it is blog.folioacademy.com so the blog called folioacademy.wordpress.com is no longer needed, we may want it in the future so we just want to clear it and keep the name available for the future. can you help me with that?

  Hi Wayne,

  First, to clear everything out, go to your Posts->All Posts and Pages->All Pages area of the Dashboard. Click the checkbox next to “Title” (to select all), then click on Bulk Actions and choose Delete.

  To get more than the default 20 to display, you can click Screen Options at the top-right of All Posts and All Pages and increase the number. ( http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ )

  Additionally, you can purchase the Site Upgrade add-on to direct folks who visit your old WordPress.com blog to the new one. ( http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/ ).
