  Did you register it under the username account that you are logged in under now?

  Thanks for your help. Th URL is findsandbindsdotcom.wordpress.com.

  Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

  You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel an upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew.

  WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

  Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

  Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.   The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner or admin of http://findsandbinds.com/.

  So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to access the http://findsandbinds.com/ dashboard.

  Many thanks, timethief. I am currently trying to follow your helpful instructions, but WordPress seems to have locked me out of the blogsite and haven’t as yet sent me an email to enable me to renew my password despite me asking a couple of times.
  I’ll let you know how I get on!
