I have three blogs that I regularly write on under the heading churchbus71–I have building my blogs for 2 years and now I think I am ready to try to earn some income through advertisements. I don’t know-however-if 1. I have enough followers to do this and 2 whether I would have to add each blog individually or if they could all be lumped together–thanx for your help:)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do you have such unique and engaging content that your blog attracts hundreds or even 1,000 page views every day? If you do one of the WordAds advertisers might accept placing ads on your blog.
Quoting macmanx (WordAds Staff):
WordAds is currently the only advertising program at WordPress.com:
http://wordads.co/Advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed. For full details, please see:
http://support.wordpress.com/advertising/
http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/Regarding your WordAds application, our advertising partners do have a minimum traffic threshold. Looking at your page views, it’s not possible to earn meaningful earnings given your traffic levels. A site generally needs thousands of page views each month to earn meaningful earnings. As your traffic grows we will continue to apply to get ads activated.
For now, I recommend reading this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-more-views-and-traffic/
I want to strongly emphasize sharing your blog with your friends and family. If they like it, they’ll share it with their friends, and so on.
Please note that you can always contact the WordAds team directly via http://wordads.co/contact/
If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. Please see this link to learn about the differences:

Just clarifying, you can qualify for WordAds with much less. :)

No:) Lol– I’m afraid my traffic is far less–originally when I started blogging two years ago I’d hope to make it paying but, I discovered it would take a lot more traffic in order to do this. I was just hoping now that since I have more followers and readers than in the beginning I might begin to build more readership and have my blog become a source of income, no matter how small. Even though I’ve been blogging awhile and etc. I still have a ways to go in understanding everything.
Because my husband is retirement age and etc. I am looking for a source of income through writing. I know there are many avenues to pursue but it does get confusing at times.
Thanx so much for your helpful response to my question:) God Bless -
Here are some options. Remember, when you try to make money by writing, you are up against every professional writer there is. And something like 17 billion blogs. It’s an industry. You are new to the industry, so adjust your expectations accordingly.

Okay –thanx for the comment–I know there is a lot of competition out there. Even though I originally started blogging to try to make an income—I have found that I enjoy writing my blogs to help, instruct, and encourage others. I have also enjoyed reading other blogs. If nothing else it is a good writing experience for me–that keeps me writing and hopefully getting closer to my goals.
I’ve had articles published in magazines and placed well in writing contests so perhaps that is a field I need to put more energy into rather than blogging?
Thanx again for your comment:) God Bless
