I would like the 2 websites ‘australiangardenersforum.com.au’ AND ‘lushtheband.com’ removed from the dashboard in my wordPress.com dashboard listed in and shown in MySites tab. Thank you.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Howdy!

Your user account is an admin on both of these sites which is why you see them listed in the My Sites tab.

Please share a bit more information about what you’re trying to do and I’ll be happy to help :)

Hi , Thank you so much for responding,
I am an admin on more than 30 sites, and none of them show up in My wordpress.com account dashboard.

I get an annoying login when I log in to my WP site/s saying login OR login with the normal WP login screen, it drives me crazy!

I just dont want these two sites appearing in my WordPRess.com dashboard, I can’t actually remember how they appeared there in the first place. I came to gravitar actually and then became intercepted by having to login to wordpress.com to be able to login to gravatar. I wanted to make sure I had no unwanted avatars in gravitar, and this is when I noticed the two sites where the login screen was appearing to be different from all my other self hosted wordpress.org sites. and I put two and two together! So please remove them, from showing on my WordPress.com dashboard or tell me how to do it, I am very grateful for any help.
    Cheers Liz

  • These 2 sites are appearing in your WordPress.com dashboard because they are connected via Jetpack. You’d need to uninstall or disconnect Jetpack to remove those sites from your WordPress.com, My Sites tab.

Your Jetpack connection gives the option to login with WordPress.com as well. If you do not want to see this option you can disable it by following these steps:
    https://jetpack.com/support/sso/

The other 30 sites are not appearing because they are either connected to a different WordPress.com account through Jetpack or do not have Jetpack installed and/or connected.

Ahh …. that explains it, I must have accidentally chosen to login with WordPress at some point! the other sites also have Jet pack installed, and your right, they are probably as you say connected to another account, maybe I have two accounts without realizing. At least I will be able to sort it out now, Thank you so much for your kind help and guidance.
    Have a great day :))

  • No problem :) Take care!
