You can have either a public or a private blog and there is no limitation on the total number of contributors to any blog. If you’d like to invite others to publish posts or help approve comments on your blog, you can invite them to be a Contributor, Editor, or Author. If you want users to receive updates each time you publish new content you can invite them to be a follower/viewer.

That requirement is because the software has to be able to differentiate between hackers and official users and allow access only to those with username accounts and official roles on the blog.
They will need to click the “Accept Invitation” button in the invitation email. If they are logged into their WordPress.com account, they will be taken directly to your blog. If not, they will be taken to the log-in screen, where they can either log in or create a new user account.
Note that users who create a new WordPress.com account at that point will still need to return to the invitation email and click the “Accept Invitation” button after doing so.

I have posted my concern already and up to now I haven’t received a resolution.
I tried to add a user to my blog so he can become a co-administrator. I let him register (without creating a blog) but it didn’t allow him to see the blog I invited him to co-administer. I then proceeded to let him create his own blog (which he wouldn’t use unfortunately) and still the blog I shared/invited him to, does not appear.
When we follow the steps, every time he clicks accept invitation from his email, it brings him to the WP login page (even if he is already logged in) and when he logs in, the site I shared with him is not part of his My Sites.
Up to now, his status as a user in my blog is pending.
How can I resolve this?

And the username I need help with is: abeng5The user is not that technical of a person and I am just managing his blog for him. I hope there can be an easy resolution or if you can override the blogs and add him as a user, then that would be great!
