I would like to completely remove the GoodReads widget from my homepage.

  I have cancelled my account with Goodreads. The books that were on the bookshelf widget are now gone. The Goodbooks widget is still visible on my home page … empty, but there. How do I remove it. I don’t see anything in my widget section of the dashboard. I have cleared my cache.

  It’s a text widget. Should still be in your sidebar; just take it out.
