I would like to correct the site name/address/ domain?

  I was creating a site and forgot to add a letter on the address name/ domain. Can I change that or do I have to recreate a new site altogether?

  You cannot change a URL once it is created, but all you have to do is make another blog on your existing account and then transfer the stuff over to the new blog. Type “export” into the support page search box for more information on moving your stuff over to the new blog.
