I would like to delete my website, but it will not let me because I have installed a premium theme

If a premium theme is installed, first select a default theme and activate it. This should allow you to continue.
What you can do is delete all your content and remove your information This is referred to as “Emptying”. By logging into your dashboard you can click on posts/pages. When you are taken to the indexing page showing all your posts/page you can click on the check box next to Title>Bulk Actions>Move to Trash. For selecting media click the button “Bulk Select” and select all the images/audio/etc and click the “Delete” button.
If you’re on a paid plan you’ll want to cancel that before hand too. Go to “Manage Purchases” or click https://wordpress.com/me/purchases, select the plan and when you get to the next page, you’ll see a small trashcan icon that will say “Remove” followed by the name of the plan you are on. Once you have deleted all your content and deactivated any plans, the last step would be to change your user information, and you can do so by go to your account setting and modifying emails, names and public display names. Hi, thank you for this. I have changed the theme and deleted all content but it is still saying that I have purchases to manage, however, the only purchase in my settings is the premium theme.

Since you have a premium theme, you’ll need staff to manually remove that before you can delete your website. I have tagged this thread with modlook to bring it to the attention of a Happiness Engineer.
In the meantime, can you confirm that the linked website is the one that you have purchased the theme for?

I’ve removed the premium theme from merylpresspr.wordpress.com — you should be able to delete your site now.
